How do I purchase YoCream Products?

YoCream products are distributed through associations with over 240 domestic distributors including national and regional broad line distributors, specialty distributors and dairies.

A direct sales force, supported by qualified foodservice brokers, an inside sales and customer service team and telemarketing staff provide sales and service support.

Does YoCream sell or lease Soft Serve or Beverage Equipment?

YoCream is a manufacturer of frozen yogurt and other soft serve and beverage products. We do not manufacture or distribute equipment. We do work hand in hand with equipment companies and our products work in all soft serve machines. Some of the major suppliers of frozen yogurt machines are listed below. Does YoCream produce a powdered frozen yogurt?

YoCream manufactures real liquid frozen yogurt mix, never powder. Our frozen yogurts are carefully crafted to contain high levels of beneficial live and active yogurt cultures. Powdered products do not contain these live and active cultures and for that reason YoCream does not manufacture this way.

What cultures does YoCream frozen yogurt contain?

YoCream Frozen Yogurt cultures include: S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. lactis, L. acidophilus and Bifidobacterium.

How do I know if the frozen yogurt I'm eating contains live and active cultures?

Frozen yogurt is a "non-standardized" frozen dessert. That means that there are no federal guidelines for what has to be included to consider a product frozen yogurt. Some products contain live and active cultures and some do not. The National Yogurt Association has created the Live and Active Culture Seal to help consumers identify the most beneficial yogurts to eat. The Live and Active Culture Seal is a voluntary program that is awarded to manufacturers whose products are independently tested and contain high levels of probiotic cultures. Look for the LAC seal to know that the frozen yogurt that you are eating has these beneficial high levels of live and active cultures. Visit www.aboutyogurt.com for more information.

Is YoCream Frozen Yogurt Kosher Certified?

Yes, all YoCream products are Kosher Certified. However, the certification applies to YoCream products only and does not cover the retail establishment. If you are an operator that would like to serve a completely Kosher product, please contact your local Rabbi for details. If you have older YoCream POS materials with the Kosher seal - Please contact Marketing for updated materials.

Is YoCream Frozen Yogurt rBST free?

Does YoCream sell franchises?

YoCream is committed to producing and selling the highest quality frozen yogurt for our consumers. Many frozen dessert stores around the country and the world purchase YoCream soft serve products to sell in their shops and we don’t want to compete with their sales. We do have one company store and show room in Portland Oregon at Cascade Station near the Portland airport. We opened YoCream Frozen Yogurt to showcase our products and educate the public of the benefits of live and active culture yogurt but not to sell franchises. We do offer a class to help new business owners interested in opening a frozen yogurt shop who need help getting started.
