PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- International Yogurt Company (NASDAQ:YOCM), Portland manufacturer and wholesaler of YOCREAM® frozen desserts, snacks and beverages, reports:

     * Sales up       21%
     * Profits up     54% 
          

YOCREAM® Smoothies, for blender or dispenser operation, are a new lead product for the Company. Launched this spring, retail servings, nationally, are already in excess of one million. They are currently being served at the rate of approximately one-half million per month.
